Refund and Returns Policy

At Eliz Treats, customer satisfaction is important to us.

Because our cakes and desserts are freshly prepared and perishable, our returns policy differs from that of non-food products.

Returns

For food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of cakes, cupcakes, desserts, or other edible products once they have been collected or delivered.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

  • Incomplete

please contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery.

Where possible, include photographs showing the issue.

Refunds

Refunds may be offered where:

  • We supplied the wrong product.

  • The product arrived significantly damaged due to our handling.

  • The product was not as described.

Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not normally be provided where:

  • You change your mind after collection.

  • The cake has been consumed.

  • Damage occurred after collection or delivery.

  • Storage instructions were not followed.

  • Minor colour or handcrafted decoration variations are present.

Custom Cakes

Because custom cakes are made specifically for you:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • Cancellation charges may apply depending on the stage of production.

Delivery Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery or collection.

Any issues should be reported immediately or within 24 hours.

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
